HUGE FILE WARNING!!!!!!!
[Freebie Brush Pack][My FAQ][More Tutorials]
Hey guys! Apocalyptic-Raven was having some trouble installing my brushes, and I thought now would be a good time to make a quick brush installation tutorial! There's a more in-depth brush making tutorial in the works, but for now this will get you through. C: Good luck guys!
Tutorial (c) me, cocobunnie
I dont understand half of these words- please send help to my tiny idiot self
(i think i need a simplified way or something-)
There's a link to the video version in the description, that may help clear some things up!!!!
this is kind of a stupid question, but how exactly do you download the brushes? i cannot yet figure that out.
So there's lots of places to find brushes, simply find an alpha and right click and save it! As for the settings folks will usually also put their settings as well!!!!
If you're talking about my brushes specifically there is a link in the description to resources that has some paid and free brushes I made!
How do I unzip multiple files at once? It's painstaking doing it one at a time.
Highlight all of them, then right click to unzip. C:
it says 'your trial of express zip has ended' now i'm a very sad tiny human
try just clearing out the notification tbh? im not sure what program you're using but with winrar it still works after your trial expires you just need to clear the notification
So, I download the brushes with the download button beside the art. Yet, whenever I try and find them in my files, they aren't there. What do I do, and what did I somehow manage to do wrong?
how do you do that? :00 im not good with any of this kind of stuff gdwhfer
it varies for different computers! I would recommend googling 'how to unzip folder'+your operating system C:
You'll need to use a software like WinZip in my (admittedly very limited) experience.
mm mmhm. i had my much more technologically inclined brother show me how to do it after i tried for a while heh
How do I get the brush from the Internet onto my computer, anytime I try it either saves the link or the picture of the brush.
It depends on if the brush is alpha based or native based! If it is alpha based then you save a pic of the brush and install it using this tutorial <:
I have a windows computer, how do I unzip it? I clicked the open brushes thing and the brush pack doesn't show in the downloads.
you may need to download a program that can unzip/decompress files! Like winzip or the like
You can actually unzip zip folders without WinZip. Just open the folder with Windows Explorer and extract.
ooooooh, yeah!!!
there's some links in the description friend C:
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOu're very absolutely welcome frond of mineeeeeee
Depends what kind of device!!!! If you are using a computer then you can right click and save it and install it as usual. If you're using a tablet like a galaxy tab or an ipad or something than something than its a little more complicated.
another stupid question, how to install? it just shows up as the preview image. XD
thanks! i'll definitely will add them to firealpaca! :3
CRYING FOREVER!!!!
I can't figure out how to download them
There's a link to the brushes in the description, plus a link to a whole bunch more of them!!! C:

Photoshop brushes are a creative's dream. They are fantastic time-savers, as Photoshop brushes enable you to quickly create rich artwork without having to draw all the individual design elements each time.

But where to start? There's a huge spectrum of Photoshop brushes available, ranging from grunge and watercolour brushes to leaf designs and fabric textures, and cloud patterns to glass shatters. And while Photoshop CC does ship with a set of brushes pre-installed, they only scratch the surface of what's possible with the brush engine.

We've split our collection into four categories to help you find the perfect Photoshop brush:

  • Photoshop brushes for painting – for mimicking a traditional art effect
  • Natural brushes – everything from hair to clouds, trees, fire and water effects
  • Grunge Photoshop brushes – for when you want a distressed or aged effect
  • Fantasy and comic brushes – including half-tone brushes and sparkle effects

Whether you're using an older version of Photoshop or have recently joined Creative Cloud, grab the free Photoshop brush downloads below and start creating stunning design flourishes in your artwork.

Need some help getting started? You'll find lots of handy advice in our list of top Photoshop tutorials.
